Nikki Clark

Hexham Marketer

I'm Nikki, a marketing consultant based just outside Hexham in Northumberland, working with small and growing businesses that want marketing that actually works.

I studied History at Nottingham Trent University, which probably explains why I'm obsessed with context, narrative and understanding what makes people tick — all things that turn out to be pretty useful in marketing. These days you'll find me a few miles from Hadrian's Wall, that’s something I will never take that for granted.

Outside of work, life is full and loud in the best possible way. I'm a devoted mum and wife, national trust lover, a crime novel reader, and the owner of Monty - an English Springer Spaniel with boundless energy and absolutely zero interest in campaign metrics. In 2022 my family made the leap from Cheshire to Northumberland and honestly, it's the best decision we ever made.

I started Nikki Clark Marketing because I kept seeing the same problem: brilliant small/medium businesses doing ad hoc marketing and hoping for the best. I wanted to offer something different — senior-level thinking, genuine accountability, and someone who actually cares whether it works.

Monty the springer spaniel, mascot of Nikki Clark Marketing Hexham

Every great marketing team has a secret weapon. Mine has four legs, a nose for mischief and an unrivalled ability to fall asleep mid-strategy session.

Monty is a English Springer Spaniel and the unofficial mascot of Nikki Clark Marketing. His role is multifaceted: Head of Tail Wag Communications, Senior Snooze Strategist, and my loyal shadow from the kitchen to the home office (and occasionally under the desk during calls — sorry about that).

He brings boundless enthusiasm to every walk, unconditional support to every deadline, and absolutely zero input on campaign metrics.
