Hello, I'm Nikki

I am a marketing consultant based in Acomb, just outside Hexham in Northumberland, and I work with small business owners who want to be found online without having to become technical experts themselves.

I have spent seventeen years in marketing, most recently leading marketing across the UK, Ireland and Benelux for a large records management group. I have undertaken rebrands, rebuilt websites, run campaigns across every channel you can name, and translated an awful lot of jargon into plain English along the way.

In 2022 my family swapped Cheshire for Northumberland and it is honestly the best decision we ever made. These days I live a few miles from Hadrian's Wall, which I will never take for granted. When I am not working you will find me dragging the family around National Trust properties, lost in a crime novel, or in the garden pretending I know what I am doing.

I started Nikki Clark Marketing because I kept meeting the same person: a brilliant small business owner, busy and successful, who knew their online presence was letting them down but found the whole thing overwhelming. Websites, Google, social media, and now AI on top of it all. Nobody was explaining it kindly, in plain English, without trying to sell them something confusing.

So that is what I do. I handle it, I explain it when you want it explained, and I hand you nothing you did not ask for.

Every great marketing team has a secret weapon. Mine has four legs, a nose for mischief and an unrivalled ability to fall asleep mid-strategy session.

Monty is a English Springer Spaniel and the unofficial mascot of Nikki Clark Marketing. His role is multifaceted: Head of Tail Wag Communications, Senior Snooze Strategist, and my loyal shadow from the kitchen to the home office (and occasionally under the desk during calls — sorry about that).

He brings boundless enthusiasm to every walk, unconditional support to every deadline, and absolutely zero input on campaign metrics.
