It varies and I'd rather be straight with you than throw out numbers that mean nothing without context. What I can tell you is that I can offer retainers, project-based work and day rates, so there's usually a way to make it work. It's almost always less than you'd spend on an agency or an in-house hire for the same level of thinking.

It's definitely a sweet spot. I work a lot with B2B professional services and regulated industries the kind of sectors where credibility, trust and getting the details right really matter. If your industry is complex, heavily regulated or just genuinely hard to explain to the outside world that's exactly where I'm most useful. Though if you're B2C, don't let that put you off. Just ask.
